COREY J. MEHAFFY, CEO
​

Corey J Mehaffy joined the staff of Northeast Missouri Economic Development Council (NEMO EDC) as the president of the organization in January of 2019. As president, Mehaffy is responsible for all economic development efforts including business retention and expansion, business attraction and entrepreneurship.  From its inception in 1984 NEMO EDC has provided economic development services for the City of Hannibal, Marion County and Ralls County.

Mehaffy spent the previous eleven years as the President of Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation where he led an effort to establish a multi-county partnership with MAEDC functioning as the lead economic development agency for all counties.

NEAL MINOR, MHA, Consultant

Neal spent the first part of his career in Healthcare Administration, specifically operations and project management and business development.  Neal spent 10 years as Mayor of his community and made the switch to consulting.  Currently he provides insurance, risk management, strategic planning and economic development consulting to public entities.

In addition, Neal is the developer and cofounder of MIRG, the first database to compare municipal financial data on a national scale.

RANDAL S. WEIDENAAR, Culture Change Consultant​

Randal Weidenaar is a dynamic Culture Change Consultant. In his career, he has worked with cultures from every continent, and individuals from Wall Street boardrooms to refugees on the streets of Athens, Greece. He has been in marketing for two decades and international social work for a third decade. He was educated in Europe and lived there for ten years. His background has given him keen insight into what shapes culture. Culture is the key to change, it shapes belief and behavior.

JONATHAN HARRISON, MBA, MHA
 

Jonathan holds a Master of Business Administration, Master of Health Administration, and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration—all from the University of Missouri. He specializes in working with large data sets and combining multiple data sources to create comprehensive views of complex situations, complete with analysis that allows customers to gain actionable knowledge from otherwise unremarkable data. He pairs a broad knowledge of Excel with a knack for Visual Basic to deliver customized, thoughtful assessments.
With a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and close to a decade in Healthcare Management, he has improved operations throughout all aspects of outpatient care, from call center performance and inventory management to ensuring timely access to care and patient satisfaction. He has leveraged data throughout his career, creating solutions that have been adopted as best practices among peers across the country.
In the brief moments of free-time that life with an 18-month-old affords, he enjoys woodworking, podcasts, and smoking BBQ.

ANNIE FENNEWALD, PROGRAMMER RESEARCH ANALYST

Annie brings over 10 years of analytical experience and holds a Master’s of Business Administration in Marketing Analytics from the University of Missouri and a BA in Economics from Elon University. Annie is a life-long lover of data and strategy in both her professional and personal life. She is an avid strategic board gamer with the Mid-Missouri Strategic Board Game Society and has a spreadsheet for everything – ever wonder if Sam’s Club is cheaper than Wal-Mart?

JORDAN MEHAFFY, RESEARCH SUPPORT SPECIALIST

As a Research Support Specialist, Jordan works in the field of Economic Development and Labor Market Research. Jordan works closely with GSG’s nation-wide customer base, which includes private businesses, site consultants, communities and economic development organizations, in an effort to assist them in identifying barriers to economic growth and providing workforce solutions for use in marketing, site evaluation and support of community or regional planning for workforce development.

Jordan’s background in mathematics and statistics fits well with GSG’s goal of providing data analysis used by economic developers, business leaders, and other local stakeholders for decision making. The GSG project team provides Labor Market research specific to Labor Supply, Labor Demand and Labor Commuting Certifications as well as Retail Market Research and Feasibility Studies.

Jordan is a graduate of Moberly High School and is currently attending Moberly Area Community College studying Business Management. Jordan has worked as a Golf Operations Associate at Heritage Hills Golf Course in Moberly, MO since 2012. In his free time, Jordan is an avid golfer and enjoys playing video game as well as playing and coaching soccer. Jordan joined the GSG team in April of 2015.
